The University of Málaga is located in the city of Málaga, in southern Spain.

The facilities are distributed on two campuses, located in the centre of the city and in the area of Teatinos, equipped with libraries, laboratories, classrooms, green areas, sporting and cultural services, restaurants, etc UMA has the collaboration of the Parque Tecnológico de Andalucia (PTA), a technopolis of vanguard, which also has facilities on the University campus.
Designed for internationalization, increasingly, there are more bachelor, masters and doctoral programmes which incorporate students from other countries.
